Tea Time

I just made myself a cup of tea  - I mostly drink coffee, but like an occasional cup of tea. It reminded me that when we lived in West L. A. and Santa Monica, my grandfather would drive over to our house and mom would make them each a cup of tea. They would sit and chat over a cup (and maybe two).

I was too little to appreciate the visit between father and daughter, but how sweet it must have been for both  of them. In West L.A. we had a vegetable garden, briefly, and I recall mom made sure we planted radishes because grandpa liked them.

Well, that is the memory for today, and I will drink my tea now.
